Fire Records (FIRE LP235) 1990 pressing. Limited Edition gold sleeve with embossed front cover.
Vinyl visually inspected under strong light shows no serious problems at all. Vinyl is very clean and very shiny. There are no scratches, but there are several surface marks on both sides of the record. These can only really be seen under the strong light, however, and there's nothing at all "feel-able" here that should affect playback. This LP has been well cared for over the years, and the wear it has received is just general wear you might expect from a record of its age.
Outer sleeve in very good condition. Not brilliant, but not at all bad, either. Limited edition embossed sleeve with raised lettering on the front cover. Edge wear is evident both top and bottom edges, but nothing overly serious, in my opinion. Spine area is relatively worn, sufficiently enough so the band name and album title are affected (see pics above) Some creasing evident around the spine area too. Opening edge of sleeve is also a little bit worn, with some creasing (again, please see pics) Other than that, the sleeve is fine. It will be supplied in a protective PVC cover to prevent further deterioration. Nothing here that should bother a collector too much...but I have to grade the sleeve as very good only.
Inner black and white printed sleeve in excellent condition. No problems to report here, with only a very minor amount of creasing present. Really nice shape.
So, all in all, a rare and collectable, very good condition copy of this classic Spacemen 3 LP. Vinyl in lovely condition, sleeve in very good condition with some signs of wear, and inner sleeve looking great.
An essential purchase for any Spacemen 3 vinyl completists out there....
