This auction is for a "RARE" SOUND TECHNOLOGY TECHNICAL TEST RECORD - TR150. The TR-150 Sound Technology Technical Test Record is designed to be used in conjunction with the model 1500A Tape Recorder Audio Test System. The Test Record provides a complete selection of audio test signal for professional and consumer phono cartridge analysis. In addition, the test record includes several test parameters for turntable and tone-arm diagnosis. Every effort was made to provide the user with the most advanced record pressing technology available: only virgin vinyl formulations are utilized; all four discrete test groups are half-speed mastered. Arrange in a logical sequence, the test signals are easy to use and provide a test procedure of the highest possible caliber. Lockout grooves on each band contribute to the ease and speed of performance check made with the record. To double the life of your test record, Side A and Side B are identical pressings.
RECORDING CHARACTERISTICS: The recording characteristic of the test record is the standard RIAA (IEC, etc) without the treble emphasis. Because of the limited high frequency content of ordinary recorded material, this recording characteristic provides realistic test signal levels over the full frequency range with a constant-amplitude signal supplied to the cutting equipment
