Up for sale is one of the all-time classic jazz albums: Saxophone Colossus by tenor saxophonist Sonny Rollins. Recorded in 1956 with the legendary lineup of Tommy Flanagan (piano), Doug Watkins (bass), and Max Roach (drums), this LP is widely regarded as a cornerstone of hard bop and modern jazz.
The front cover features the iconic minimalist design with a dramatic dark background, glowing orb, and bold orange lettering. The back cover includes detailed liner notes by Martin Williams, full tracklist, and musician credits.
