Description
Original with 767 Lexington Ave, NYC on both labels; 47 West 63rd St. address on bottom of the back cover. Deep groove, mono. The record has ear and RVG inscribed in the dead wax. Rollins is accompanied by Donald Byrd, trumpet; Wynton Kelly, piano; Gene Ramey, bass; Max Roach, drums. 5 tracks. Very rare edition. Tour de force for Sonny with outstanding performances by all. Cover: VG to VG+. 1 split on the top edge at the insert edge; 2- 1 splits on the bottom edge. Some edge and corner wear. Light stain at the bottom edge of the record, most evident on the back cover. The light stain is seen on about 20% of the back cover. There is some evidence of the stain along the insert edge. Also a very small amount of scuff mark at the bottom edge of the front cover. Light aging on the back cover. Record: Mint(-). Visually shows no wear. A very small amount of groove noise. Probably played only a few times in spite of the cover condition. Fine copy. Heavy vinyl pressing. Audibly checked.
