Description
Here is my very nice original copy of this rare 1968 live EP from The Move. Aside from their fine singles, they were a very good live band, with loud and heavy well-chosen cover versions. Lots of guitar solos!
Cover - front-laminated with flip-backs. Condition is very good indeed, but not quite like new. Not split, torn or written-on. front is formed to the shape of the record, with slight ring-wear. There's a crease about 2/5ths of the way down the spine edge, and perhaps a trace of an old bend top right corner. White spots you can see are lights in the cover photo. Back is discoloured just due to age, with a spot at the edge of lower flip-back. Whole thing is slightly dished, probably due to the lamination expanding / contracting differently from the card, over the years.
Record - is very good to excellent. I can't see ANYTHING wrong with side two. On side one, there is a tiny scratch on the first few grooves, and a light stylus impact a bit more than half-way across it. There are two specks in the vinyl - which are actually shiny, so tiny metal dust bits - and one of them has associated little marks from me trying to get it to come off. I have play-tested this record. It plays very well indeed - perfect except for the minor flaws I will mention. I play-tested it loud on my proper hi-fi, so I don't think there are more flaws to find! On side one, one light crackle near the end of first song. There are 3 successive light clicks - just audible! - in the second song, and a quiet crackle at the start of third song. No problems at all on side two - there's a solo vocal moment at end of first song, and even on that, it doesn't crackle. On the label, the top one of the four prongs isn't attached to the rest of the record, but this lies flat. There is a sight warp - a short / sudden one, not a bend to the whole record. It is only slight, doesn't affect the audio, I just saw it when playing the record.
Postage at cost within UK - £1.50 for first class.
I'm happy to send this lot overseas - see below for details, if bidding from outside UK. You need to know this stuff.
Dispatch will usually be "next day".
Collection in person is welcome.
I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad.
Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.
They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.
This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.
E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme.
International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.
If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.
International postage to the following countries will be shown (this is the latest list that I've seen - lotta countries!)
Australia Austria Belgium Bulgaria Canada Croatia Cyprus Czech Republic Denmark Finland France Germany Greece Hungary Ireland Israel Italy Japan Lithuania Luxembourg Malta Netherlands New Zealand Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand Turkey Norway Poland Portugal Romania Russia Slovakia Slovenia Spain Sweden, United States, Antigua & Barbuda Aruba Bangladesh Barbados Belize Bermuda Bolivia Brunei Darussalam Cambodia Cayman Islands Dominica Ecuador Egypt French Guiana Gibraltar Grenada Guadeloupe Guernsey Iceland Jersey Jordan Liechtenstein Macau Maldives Martinique Monaco Montserrat Nicaragua Oman Pakistan Paraguay Peru Reunion Saint Kitts & Nevis Saint Lucia Sri Lanka and Turks & Caicos Islands
International postage plus applicable customs charges will probably be shown to buyers in the following non-EU countries - E-Bay collects customs duty for the receiving country: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Russia and USA, and wherever else import duty is appropriate - e.g. Norway.
I WILL DEFINITELY NOT post to countries that are not included in the above lists, and I don't send to China.
