Something Else Cannonball Adderly Blue Note 1595 Mono LP. Blue and white labels with New York USA address,  RVG on the trail-off wax, ear,  heavy vinyl, deep groove on side 2 only.   

 Condition - Grading is Visual Under Bright Light and has Been Play Tested

The cover is a solid VG+. The front cover graphics are beautiful, vivid, and striking. A few light creases on the front cover with light wear and beginning of delamination on opening edge  The corners show a touch of wear. Seams are nice with splits. The printing on the spine is sharp and clear. The back cover slick has some light age toning, a few light creases, and a small stamp on the upper right corner wear but is pretty clean and sharp overall. A very striking minimalist cover.   

LP is a nice glossy VG+ with a number of light marks,  nothing feelable or serious on either side. Labels are nice with spindle marks visible under angled light. 

I did play test this record and thought it sounded quite clean and good overall. Some light background noise here and there but nothing that kept me from enjoying the music, especially during Mille's solos which use silence as much as sound. No skips or jumps. Great Blue Note sound quality, Cannonball's alto and Miles trumpet are superb. Includes loose baggie inner sleeve, I will ship the LP in another sleeve.

 My set-up is modest but effective - Theil 1.2 speakers, Scott 220 tube amp (mono setting), and a basic Pro-Ject turntable with a Grado Black cartridge. YMMV, I have a small living room so I don't need any more power. 

Overall not perfect or NM but an excellent play copy of a rare jazz LP. This copy should make some collector very happy. Check out my other auctions for more rare and interesting records. Grading

Grading is SS (still sealed), NM, VG+, VG. The myriad of grading systems on Ebay is a good indicator of the subjective nature of grading. In my opinion NM is close to perfect with one or two very minor flaws, VG+ is above average and collectable and VG is average used condition but probably the best choice for playing. I'm a collector and try to describe LPs as accurately as possible, the way I would want them described to me. The pictures should at least give a good indication of the condition of the covers and labels. Please see my seller feedback for comments on my grading. If you don't agree with how I'm calling a record that is your privilege but with all respect please don't bid.

Packaging

LP will be shipped outside of jacket in record bag and boxed for protection using an LP shipping box with cardboard stiffeners.

Terms and Payment

Low starting price and no reserve. Three day auction. Paypal only. Payment must be made within 48 hours of auction close or seven days for other forms of payment unless other arrangements are made before end of auction.

I don't profit from shipping charges. If an overage occurs I will refund the difference.

US

$3.77 for Media mail with delivery confirmation. Media mail can take 2-3 weeks. Priority mail is 7.00 with free delivery confirmation in US. Winning auctions may be combined to save postage cost. Cost will be calculated at invoice time. Insurance is optional but I cannot be responsible for uninsured shipments.  

International

Shipping methods are  First Class or Priority International. First Class cannot be tracked. Packages over four pounds must ship Priority. Please see shipping calculator for cost.

Refund Policy 

I stand behind what I sell, LP may be returned in original condition for a full refund minus return shipping costs if I am notified within three days of receipt of LP.  No rebates if you keep the LP. I don't end auctions early, there is no Buy It Now price, emails asking for a BIK price will be ignored. Good luck!
