Description

Blue Note 4136, mono. The record labels have NY USA printed on both sides; 43 West 61st St. is on the bottom of the back cover. The record includes the "ear" and "van gelder" inscribed in the dead wax. Solomon Ilori and His Afro-Drum Ensemble includes Ilori, vocal, penny whistle, talking drums, guitar(on 1 track); Chief Bey, conga; Josiah Ilori sakara drum, cow bell; Robert Crowder,conga, chekere, cow bell; Montego Joe, conga; Garvin Masseaux, conga, xylophone; Jay Berliner, guitar; Hosea Taylor, alto sax, flute; Ahmed Abdul-Malik, bass. Under the direction of Coleridge Perkinson. 6 tracks. Very small oval discoloration mark on 1 label. This can be considered minor.

Cover: Mint(-) Intact and clean. Minor aging on the back cover. Very close to new in appearance.

Record: Mint Visuallhy shows no wear. 2 or 3 small, vry light surface rub marks. These are barely visible and do not effect the sound. No surface noise. Plays like new. Audibly checked.
