Vor ca. 2 Monaten habe ich einen kleinen Teil meiner CD/LP Sammlung auf Ebay verkauft. Es waren ca. 500 Stück. Dies war mehr oder weniger ein Test wie ich mit dem ganzen Verpacken, dem Verschicken und der Verwaltung zu Recht komme. Es hat alles bestens funktioniert, und ich wage es nun (schwersten Herzens), und verkaufe, bis auf wenige Stücke, meine komplette Sammlung auf Ebay. Ich und meine zukünftige Frau werden Mitte Juni heiraten, der Umzug in eine kleinere Wohnung ist Ende Juni. Leider ist kein Platz mehr für die ganzen Sachen, und das Geld wird durch die ganzen Ausgaben (Hochzeit, Umzug, etc..) auch sehr knapp.

Der Verkauf des ersten kleinen Teils der Sammlung ist im Großen und Ganzen sehr gut verlaufen, leider haben doch mehr Leute wie erwartet nicht bezahlt. Ich bin leider auf den Gebühren sitzen geblieben, und muss jetzt einige Sachen noch einmal einstellen. Bitte dieses mal unbedingt bezahlen!

Prison Bound Demos

These are the songs which were recorded between Mommys Little Monster and Prison Bound. They sound completely different compared to the Prison Bound LP. They are far more punkrock, and less country. Imagine the Prison Bound Record in “Mommys Little Monster” version. If you like the first SxDx record, you will love this.

„The lost Social Distortion“ record. 11 Songs, studio quality. These songs were recorded between “Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell” and “White Light, White Heat, White Trash”. The songs are more “Country”, and less “Punkrock”. Mike Ness didn’t release this record, for what reason ever. Here are the songs, complete new sound, and slightly different lyrics. “

Very good sound quality for such old songs, and great recordings. They were recorded before “Mommys Little Monster” and the “Hell comes to your house” Sampler. They sound even rougher than the first record.

This part of the record is unbelievable!

Best version of this song, ever. It sounds very realistic, like he recorded it in prison.

Unplugged version of this punkrock classic.

40. Don’t Think Twice
I think this version of the song is even better, than on the Mike Ness solo record. Sounds a lot rougher.

41. The Ballad Of A Lonley Man
At the beginning, Mike Ness explains that he wanted Johnny Cash to sing this song.

42. My Gal Treats Me Mean
Unreleased Song, funny lyrics.

43. Folsom Prison Blues
Nice Mike Ness interpretation of this Johnny Cash classic.

Great unplugged Version of this song.

Sounds unplugged as good as plugged. That great, that it should have been released on record.

Great punk rock song. Would have been fit to the first Social Distortion Record!

“It’s also about Gangster Live”. Great punk rock hymn about Bonnie und Clyde.

Live Cover Songs.

This songs have been covered live. They have never been released on record (except „Send Her Back“). Awesome are the songs “Play with fire”. Social Distortion created a fast punk rock song out of a Rolling Stones ballad. Same thing, they did with “Under my thumb.” And you won’t belive this: Social Distortion covered Jimmy Cliffs classic „The Harder They Come“. And they did do a punk rock song, did it in „Jamican-Gangster-Style”
