Description

This is a rare early R&B record from 1955 by Smokey Joe. The featured song is "The Signifying Monkey" and the B-side is "Listen to Me Baby." The record was pressed on the Flip label (number 228). The Flip version is considerably rarer than the Sun Records pressing from the same year. The record is in decent shape for its rarity, with some wear on its label and some light scratches, probably in the G to VG range (I'm not a dealer or serious collector, so my grading must be considered that of an amateur).
