Here is an Unreleased blues acetate by 

Smokey Hogg

Baby Don't Leave b/w Things Don't Come My Way ??? (previously unreleased side)

recorded. January 21, 1953 in Los Angeles; Smokey Hogg, voc; Ruth Williams, p; Johnny Moore, g; Eddie Williams, b; Edward Hall, dr

This one of a kind rarity was unissued by The Federal Label

"Baby Don't Leave" side was previously released on Federal label, and has several small patches of the playing grooves missing on 1/3 of the disc, so there will be several skips as you can hear. The rest of the song plays fine.

You will see the affected surface grooves below.

The other side of this demo is the previously unreleased side, has 3 tiny groove chips missing in the very beginning of the recording, but it plays through without any skips or bad pops. This side also has a few X marks written on the playing grooves, but thankfully it does not affect play.

The playing grooves visually appear to be in VG condition.

Regardless what the condition is on this Gem, it may be the only known copy in existence!
