Description
Welcome. Up for grabs today is the Smashing Pumpkins single Tristessa w/ B-side La Dolly Vita. It is the 1990 limited (2500 copies according to Sub Pop) PINK release from Sub Pop records (SP 90), and is a must have for the avid Pumpkins fan. I purchased the record right here on ebay a while back...and honestly would have returned it had I not purchased it from the U.K. because the listing was not entirely accurate...He had it all at NM. My bad...Beware of stock pictures ebayers!! Anyway, I will be as specific as possible as to the condition of this single and sleeve. First off, I would have Side A at EX+/NM- as it has three VERY light, small marks that DO NOT affect play...I just listened to it. Side B is flawless...beautiful, bright, solid NM. Lastly the sleeve...I would have it as EX-/EX because of minor shelf wear along the bottom and corners...there are a few VERY fine creases that you'd have to look really hard for. Also, there is a small mark (about 3/4 inch) near her mouth (see photo) that I first thought might be pen, but when you really look at it there's no indentation...so I don't know if if's a printer mark or what...and it's not horrible...just needed to be mentioned. Oh yeah, it does include the SP Singles card that is absolutely NM, but it's not still attached. SO...that's about it. Since then I've tracked down another copy that is perfect, and I'm just trying to recover some of the money I spent on this one, and pass along a bargain to another Pumpkins fan. It is a very nice copy, just not what I was looking for...and could be a GREAT DEAL for someone who doesn't want to spend the $60+ that better copies go for. Please email me with any questions, check out my other auctions, and as alwayz, thanks for lookin'...Good Luck!!
