Small Faces: In Memorium, MEGA MEGA RARE UK pressing 1969, IMPS 022, (‘Sold in the UK subject to resale prices’ on label) in a German cover (C 048-90201). This is by far the rarest UK Immediate Small Faces LP, if not the rarest of all the Immediate LPs. It’s rarity can only be matched by the Billy Nichols LP. I have never seen another copy, or heard or people who had one. It is hard to get accurate info on this, so here´s what I (think I) know: supposedly this never appeared on the UK market, was made as an Export, but not many were made as the Export market was filled with the much more common German issue instead (which has a grey Immediate label). I can not confirm that a UK cover exists. (***info added May 25*** A fellow Ebay member has told me that ccording to the latest Record Collector Price Guide there is NO original UK cover to this issue***). I any case, this particular issue here must have been sent from the UK to Germany without cover, and put in a German cover (which is s not uncommon export/import issue practice). In any case, in a German or a UK cover, this orig. UK pressing is a Mega Rarity. The disc is Beautiful M-, superb, only a couple of faint slide marks, seen at a particular angle and in strong light - marks not in the category of any type of scratch. Shines like new, and plays fantastic. The German cover is also a rare variation it seems, as this one is only laminated on front, while the usual German cover is laminated on both sides. Cover has light general wear and is graded Excellent.
