Here's why this is an ultra rare 45, my Dad used to write regularly to Major Bill Smith in the 60's and 70's, even getting him to record certain tracks by Edie Robin and Third wish for the Northern scene, before he passed away in the 80's. Major Bill Smith was the owner of Le Cam, and he gave him a copy of this rare 45 as an exclusive back then.

'A side is a brilliant rare Funk Soul track also recorded by Christian La Pique, B side is the rare Funk Instrumental King Bee, under a different name, also released on Le Cam. '

The records that are being listed are from my Dad's collection, he's been collecting Northern and Deep Soul for 40+ years, this is some of the stuff he's picked up along the way.

They have first been provisionally commented on by him (his notes and comments are in the 's) . Then I have cleaned them and then added soundclip mp3's of each side to the listings and added my grading below. As we have been through the forthcoming batch of records together I am now grading them when I do the soundclip. If you check any of my feedback, and previous listings you will see they are shown to be accurate.

I would grade A side as NM-.

B side is also NM-.

There will be listings coming of all Soul and related genres such as Northern Soul , Funk , R&B Soul , Motown , Modern Soul , Mod etc. etc. and even the odd Psych/Garage 45. So keep checkin back. There is some good Funk & Soul comin shortly.

Some are extremely rare some are just run of the mill, were both selling for a good cause, to buy more records! So at least you know that these records are coming from people who enjoy music as much as you do.

My grading process is as follows, first i will look closely at a record under good light for any marks, scratches or blemishes. Then I will generally play it through and add a sound clip of each track  to the listing.

Then i will add comments as well as a grade.

M (Mint) = is unopened and unplayed, factory fresh.

NM (Near Mint) = Looks and plays perfectly, maybe played a couple of times but looks like new.

EX (Excellent) = Plays through very well and sounds good, may have very light surface scratch or minor label wear, and has been played through and listened to a good few times.

VG (Very Good) = May have a few surface scratches & or a little noise or occasional click, but plays through well with no major scratches, a record you can play and enjoy, and still worth taking care of.

I very rarely list anything that is not at least in VG condition.

G (Good) = Well played, may have surface noise and scratches but still plays through pretty well, a bit crackly, odd clicks, acceptable if your not a total perfectionist and its something your really looking for.

Covers will also be graded with same system. Ask if you want label conditions, if there is any damage, writing or stickers on labels, I will mention it in the grading section. Singles come with the original paper sleeve if its in the picture, or I will put them in a NEW paper sleeve. All soundclips come from the actual record with no adjustment. I will also use + and - to fine tune the gradings. Again i tend to undergrade rather than overgrade, i've been collecting for over 20 years so i know how i like records to be when i recieve them and the differences in some peoples grading!

 U.K. = 1 x 7" is £1.99 + £0.99 each extra. Europe = £2.99 + £1.49 each extra. Worldwide = £3.99 + £1.49 each extra.

Airsure is tracked and signed for worldwide postage, £9.99 for 1-2 records.

But if you have bought a few i will usually do a deal on reduced postage, just ask. 

Singles will be sent in a new Heavy Duty mailer with extra stiffeners and Fragile / Do Not Bend Stickers to try and help reduce chances of damage in the post.
