This item is a rare mono album released in 1968 on Columbia Records by Simon & Garfunkel entitled ‘Bookends’. Record label and number is Columbia Records KCL 2729.  This rare mono album was released just at the time when record companies were deleting mono records and pressing just stereo recordings. Mono mixes of these songs are exclusive to this record. Record itself unfortunately is only in G condition with many light hairline marks and scuffs but record plays through with no skips. Mono record plays with audible distractions and record labels have spindle wear. I’m listing this album at a low starting price with no reserve. In 40 years of collecting records this is the only mono stock copy of this record that I’ve ever seen. Mono record cover is in fair condition with flaws being ringwear, a weak spine and wear at the corners and top and bottom of the cover. Cover is not split and seams are intact. Original 33 inch by 22 inch S & G color poster is included. Songs on this great LP are:
