Description

Up for auction is an original (almost) Near Mint pressing of Simon & Garkunkel's Bookends on the red retail Columbia label.  The numbers on the EX cover match the vinyl and the cover has more than half of its original shrink remaining with the original hype sticker.  The poster is in like new condition.

 

The mono mix of this album IMO rivals only a few by The Beatles in giving the listener a wonderful new experience with a familiar album.  Since Paul Simon has been reported as rejecting any offers to reissue this mix, it's unlikely we'll see this back on the market the way the Dylan albums returned last year. 

Vinyl condition: Between NM and EX (sounds like new,  shows a small number of scuffs I could not hear. Cleaned on Nitty Gritty cleaner.)

Cover condition: EX (there's a ding and a couple of small scrapes on the bottom edge.)

Poster: NM

Due to issues with customs I will only ship within the U.S.  If Payment is not received within 7 days item will be re-listed.
