Description
This is the famous dedicated MONO mix of Simon & Garfunkel's "Bookends" (not a fold-down like the U.K. mono). This issue is difficult to find and even more difficult to find in a condition that makes for an enjoyable listening experience.
The labels show some spindle wear (see detailed photos) and the top edge of the sleeve is rough but not separated (see detailed photos). The spine is excellent.
The poster is present; there are no tack holes and it appears to have never been unfolded.
The record itself plays a very solid VG. There are very occasional clicks and both sides have some surface noise during the trail in grooves before the first songs. But this is a very enjoyable play and there is no noise that comes close to overpowering the music. Both sides are Columbia "1C" pressings.
