You are bidding on a *Signed* copy of Carl Story's "Songs From The Blue Ridge Mountains" LP, along with his Rambling Mountaineers (Randy Crindstaff, George Hazelwood, Mitchell Moser, and Billy Baker) signatures, too! I realize signed items are tricky, authenticating them, fakes, etc... I cannot authenticate these signatures. However, I cannot imagine someone faking these. These all appear to be signed by by five different people, five different styles, different pens, the whole nine yards.
I assess this record to be in VG+ condition, meaning there are very light surface scratches, and light scuffs. I have listened to this record, and SIDE 1 sounds rather prestine. There are no skips, no static, through any songs on SIDE 1.
On SIDE 2, you are able to hear some surface noise, but it is very faint, and only audible at several occasions. It does not take away from the listening experience at all. And this record rules!
The jacket is in VG condition. It shows signs of normal wear, fading here and there. There are some stains on the front and back cover. You should be able to notice these from the pictures. No tears or splits, though! The spine is in good shape, as well.
Once again, this is Carl Story, "Songs From The Blue Ridge Mountains", MAG Records # MAG 5903, released in 1979. The father of Gospel Bluegrass! This record is quite hard to find, let alone signed!
