Description

One of the first Studio One discomixes. I believe it was released in the late '70s but am unsure of the exact date as I picked it up second hand in the early '80s. No proper label information, just a Studio 1 logo stamped on to a white label but the A side is Shockers Rock and the title has been hand written on. A side is- Tommy McCook, Richard Ace & The Skatalites & Disco Height. Shockers Rock, an extended mix that goes into a mildly dubbed ska version. Essentially a remix using both sides of the original 7". Other side is -John Holt - Hooligan aka Change Your Style. Again an extended mix that uses both sides of the original single. Run out grooves read SO1000 39A and SO100039B. Both sides are in very good condition- some light marks but no pops, clicks or jumps when played on my reasonably sensitive Sherwood deck. Some people might want to cary out a gentle clean but I know that everyone favours different methods so i'll leave that to you. I will post by whatever method you want and will only charge you what it costs me.
