Background Information

Click on the link to see the original information source: - Riley, Riley, Wood And Waggett Released on the RCA subsidiary Neon in 1971, the Riley, Riley, Wood & Waggett album by UK outfit Shape of the Rain is a wonderful example of American West Coast meets British psych/progressive to create a sound and feel all of its own. Its subtle rhythms, 12 string & slide guitars plus excellent harmonies, make it one of the most enduring albums of its time.

The band had actually been around since the early 60's perfecting their songwriting and recording skills, but it wasn't until the late 60's that people finally began to take notice when they secured gigs at such venues as The Marquee, The Cavern and Manchester's Hard Rock among others. They continued performing and recording right up until 1973, but nothing else was released, and the band split up. Despite not achieving mainstream success at the time, the band are now held in high regard by critics and collectors alike.

  Other Information

If you require any further information about this record or require additional photos, matrix numbers etc - please let me know and I will send them to you.

All records will be sent in professional mailers with two cardboard stiffeners. The record will be removed from the sleeve to protect it during transit. I will always obtain a certificate of posting for each parcel.

It is essential that you use the Recorded/Special delivery (UK) or International Signed For (Rest of World) postal options if you want to insure the item against damage or loss. I cannot take responsibility for the package once it is in the hands of the postal service using the basic 1st class or Air Mail service (uninsured).

I would prefer PayPal, if possible, from non UK bidders. For UK based bidders, PayPal would be the best option, otherwise a cheque or postal order may be acceptable. Please contact me if in doubt.
