Description
A very rare 1977 Warner Bros. Records test pressing of the Sex Pistols’ album Never Mind the Bollocks Here’s the Sex Pistols. The test pressing is in excellent condition with a few barely visible sleeve scuffs, but overall extremely shiny and clean. I have owned this record for over 40 years (bought it off the Goldmine publication in the late 80s and never played it). The matrix numbers are BS-1-3147 LW2 and BS-2-3147 LW2 (tried to provide photos but hard to take). Included is a contemporary copy of the insert which was also originally a copy itself). Issued on special white labels with black printed text stating: "(p) 1977 Warner Bros. records Inc." above the spindle hole and "Available only to technical and other authorized personnel for the limited purpose of testing and review. NOT TO BE PUBLICLY PERFORMED,REPRODUCED, SOLD OR OTHERWISE DISTRIBUTED." printed below the spindle hole. Housed with a 'generic' white sleeve.
I am retiring soon and moving items that I have collected over the years. Sold all my other vinyl to a local Miami store.
