Description

Seagull (Burdette, US 197?) CONDITION: Cover/Records: M- (in shrink wrap) Rare privately pressed album from Seattle. Kind of a mystery to me, there not being very much info besides the noted: "All selections composed by J. Parry. Orden" on the labels. The music is strings based with violin and guitar. Very adventurous and free, experimental and avant garde, even playful (they sometimes reminds me of The Kronos Quartet) jazz and jazz rock that does not quite reach fusion. The real odd thing is that there are the sounds of crashing waves thru the entire two sides, flowing thu seven long tracks. Songs include "I Can Fly", "Power Dive", "No Limit", "Within Us All", etc. An interesting lp that has a very unique sound. No reserve. Good luck!
