Schubert Fantasie Rondeau Max Rostal UK HMV CLP 1113 RARE
On this extremely rare record, Violinist Max Rostal with Colin Horsley plays Schubert’s “Sonata (Duo) in A Major” (D.574), “Sonatina No. 2” (D.385), and “Sonatina No. 3” (D.408). An English mono pressing on the HMV Label (CLP 1113), the labels are plum with gold lettering, a large fan shaped dog, groove, and Made in Great Britain at 6 o’clock. The record has some minor wear only and is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with some low-level surface noise. The cover has rubbed and is a little grubby on the back.
