What you are bidding on is a very rare, Sausage limited edition red vinyl album signed by Les Claypool himself. Also, the postcard that was originally mailed for it, a Sausage ticket stub to a concert in the Bay Area they played in Feburary of 1995, and a concert shirt I got from the show. The ultimate Sausage collectible. As a HUGE Primus fan I was signed up for their official fanclub. In the spring of 1994 I was mailed a post card (my name is on the post card) telling me about the Sausage project. I could mail away for a limited edition vinyl so I did. So I'm the original owner and still have the postcard that was mailed. Also, that following spring they came near my town to play live and only did a few shows. Also included is a tshirt I got at the show. The album came with a poster and bumper sticker, while the poster is still in mint never used condition, I put the bumper sticker on my car years ago so that is the only piece that is missing.
--------- Les signed it at Tower Records in San Francisco when they did an instore with him and Buckethead and Brain promoting the Big Eyeball in the Sky release (check my auctions for a signed copy of that CD as well). Condition of the items:
The record has never been played so it's in NM condition. It's red vinyl. The sleeve has a couple dents in it if you look closely or run your fingers over it. This was due to hauling this thing around for 20 years (I'm the first and only owner).
The poster inside has never been open and to be honest, I didn't even know I still had it until I took pictures for this auction. It's in there and in mint condition.
The ticketstub is in amazing condition considering how drunk I was at that show. But I keep all my tickets so it's been safe for the last 20 years. Look at the pics for that one.
The post card still has my original mailing address from 1994. It's never been folded but has little pin holes in the corners where I tacked it to a wall once.
The tshirt is in a very... very used condition. It's still held up great but has been washed a million times, as I wore it a lot because of my love of the shirt. I have cats and dogs so there may be animal hair on it somewhere and I can't say if I ever smoked while wearing it... I'm not sure. It has the band on the front and then the band name across the shoulders and the ear with a face in it near the butt.
As I've mentioned I'm a huge Primus fan and the original owner. I don't want to part with this collection but we are having our second baby in just a couple weeks and need the cash more than the items. I still have great memories of this and another one of this just sold a few weeks ago for $150 and was unsigned with no extras.
