Description

This Sam Rivers "A New Conception" LP is from the closing of a local estate with a collection of over 3000  (mostly jazz)  LPs. Other artists featured are Hal Galper (piano), Herbert Lewis (bass) & Steve Ellington (drums). The blue & black label is the label Blue Note used from 1970-1973. Van Gelder is stamped in the runout. The jacket shows considerable age-related shelf wear, but the record itself is in very good+ condition. The inner sleeve shows age-related discoloration.  The gentleman had his own filing system of his collection & every sleeve and/or box is labeled. You can see that label in the photos that I've uploaded.

I am NOT any kind of an expert in grading vinyl LPs but try to visually judge the condition according to the standards that I see other sellers using. I am not a collector or aficionado, I'm merely closing out an estate, so if you have any questions, please feel free to email...
