Sam Rivers     A New Conception    Blue Note 84249  stereo  "New York USA"  label   

 

Sam Rivers (ts), Hal Galper (p), Herbie Lewis (b), Steve Ellington (d)  Recorded 1966 

 "New York USA" label with  "Van Gelder" in the runout both sides.  No "The Ear" aka "P" on any issue of this title.   Cover has "43 West 61st St., N.Y. 10023" address.

  Record looks M- and plays nicely and quietly at  between VG++ and M-.  No scratches or scuffs and grooves do not look gray or worn. 

 Cover is VG+.  Front cover has moderate to heavy overall wear and ring wear. Bottom seam split less than 1/2 inch at the pocket with heavy wear. Spots of heavy wear at the corners.  The back cover has light to moderate wear and some crinkling near the Blue Note logo.        

  I WILL BE RUNNING WEEKLY AUCTIONS OF 50s and 60s JAZZ LPS INC. BLUE NOTE  1500s PRESTIGE NYCs TRANSITIONS ETC. MANY WEEKS AND SOME HIGH END ITEMS TO COME.

 My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
