Description
This is Blue Note Records LA453-H2, Sam Rivers Involution, a blue, white "b" label original stereo 2LP issue of these great, previously unissued recordings. The records are in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. There are two light concentric marks left by using a defective turntable pad on and old Keith Monk's record cleaning machine, but it does not affect play or the grade. Perhaps some might consider it visually VG++. The textured gate-fold cover is excellent and intact but has a hole punch. The labels are excellent. The records were played on a Linn Sondek LP12 and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this original issue.
