Description

This is an original stereo pressing of saxophonist Sam Rivers 'A New Conception' on Blue Note Records (84249). The record has the 'New York, USA' Label on both sides with sound engineer Rudy Van Gelder's last name machine stamped in the dead wax on both sides. 
The cover is 'Very Good' (VG) with seam splitting of around 1.5 inches long occurring at the top of the cover that has resulted in some bowing of the cover at the opening. The spine is intact with slight scuffing. 
The record is also 'Very Good' (VG) with stray needle and handling marks on both sides that are not deep and do not cause skips. The labels have some slight spotting marks.
