Catalogue number: Decca SXL 2084-5

Cover condition: Poor! The cover has been attacked by an idiot with a large roll of sellotape sometime in the 60s by the looks. It has the booklet teped within and I suspect it has been "repaired" quite considerably.

Vinyl condition: Absolutely superb, no marks anywhere - NM. I am amazed to find such a stunning condition pair of records in such a poor condition cover.

Comments: This is one of the near unobtainable early SXLs - it is one of the earliest wide-band pressings and has the words 'Original recording by the Decca Record Co. Ltd. London' on the label along with the 'deep groove'. It is listed in the Rare Classical Record Price Guide at 160 pounds, so you could get a true bargain here if you can live with a way less than perfect cover. Obviously a great way to make a mint copy if you have a good cover and tatty records.

I have a VPI 17F professional wet vacuum record cleaner and will happily clean this album if requested for a fee of 50p per side. Please note that I can only clean 12" records on this machine.
