Sweetwater is a magical 60's band and one of the coolest secrets of that era. They were “the”  first band to play at Woodstock - right after Richie Havens. Sweetwater released three LP's. What makes Sweetwater so cool? First, the music. Sweetwater's three albums present an impressive body of work and define the term hippy music for me. Its a mix of different sounds with a psychedelic twist and lyrics that could only have been written during the late 60's. Sweetwater was a forerunner in many ways - a female singer and six guys, a multi-cultured group of seven people, a true collaborative effort and not the work of one or two and music that rocks but isn't guitar-based.  Finding a still sealed original copy?!?! Forget it – not even a HOPE!!! This may be the last one you will ever see.

(b)          The album is believed to come with its original insert still intact.

(c)           The record is believed to come in its original stock inner sleeve.

(d)          The record is  apparently pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(e)           Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

·       COVER

THE COVER IS STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL ►SHRINK WRAP; HOWEVER, WE ARE UNABLE TO GRADE IT NEAR MINT DUE TO MINOR FLAWS LISTED BELOW; WE GRADE THIS COVER AS EXCELLENT OR VG++  (A SMALL PIECE OF SHRINK WRAP IS MISSING)

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-         Cover has some light ring wear (nothing significant); On the scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and  10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of ring wear as 3

-         The cover has visible dust accumulated under the shrink wrap (this might be possible to neatly wipe off once the shrink wrap has been removed)

-         Minor shelf wear noted on the bottom seam (nothing significant)

-         Cover has one corner slightly worn / frayed / bent (just a beginning of the split seam)

-        No cut-out (drill) holes.

-        No cut-out corners

-        No saw-marks or indents

-        No wrinkles or creases
