SUPER RARE ELVIS PRESLEY "BLUE HAWAII" ARMED FORCES RADIO LP – You’re bidding on an extremely rare version of this great old ELVIS PRESLEY album on the ARMED FORCES RADIO & TELEVISION SERVICE label. What makes this version so rare is that most of these specially produced Armed Forces albums from ELVIS consisted of either one or two of his recordings mixed in with other artists of the time, or at best, only one side dedicated to his recordings. These multi-artist Armed Forces albums with only some Elvis tunes included are themselves pretty hard to find... BUT TO FIND A COMPLETE ELVIS ALBUM WITH ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER ARTISTS ON IT IS ALMOST UNHEARD OF. I’ve searched on EBAY for months and have yet to find a single "Elvis Only" Armed Forces album.

?

**** IMPORTANT SONG LIST DIFFERENCES **** This Armed Forces version has a different playing order than the regular commercially issued album. "Moonlight Swim" (Side One/Song #7 on the Commercial Release.) was moved to Side Two/Song #1 on the Armed Forces Release. "Beach Boy Blues" (Side Two/Song #5 on the Commercial Release.) was dropped from the Armed Forces Release. (Okay. So technically, it’s not the "complete" album, but it’s close enough.)

RECORD: (GOOD) Play tested. No skips. (There is no "MONO" designation on the label, but I played the record and it is definitely Mono.) Vinyl has numerous scuffs and light scratches. It also has plenty of pops and clicks all the way through.

LABELS: (VG) There is a little bit of wear around the spindle hole. There is some ink writing. "F.T.A ALL THE WAY" is probably an Officer’s initials along with his permission to the Military Disc Jockey to play any of the songs on this album. (I guess someone higher up already decided that "Beach Boy Blues" shouldn’t be heard by the men in the ranks and was deleted from the album before it was pressed.) (SEE IMAGES.)

COVER: These Armed Forces records didn’t come with a cover, so I’m providing a generic DJ cover.

SLEEVE: Comes in a new generic sleeve.
