SUNDOG SUMMIT Private Press LP Hippy Psych VELVETS
AUTOGRAPHED, WITH INSERT, VELVET UNDERGROUND COVER Here's an EX+/NM to EX+ copy of SUNDOWN SUMMIT'S album PRESENTING SUNDOG SUMMIT ON SUMMIT HILL, a 1976 private press album from Chicago, on the Audio Mixers album. This hippy psychy album features a cover of the Velvet Underground's "White Light, White Heat" and liner notes proclaiming that the band builds on the base of Andy Warhol and the Velvet Underground's combination of rock music and avant-garde art. This is signed on the reverse by band members Bill Nelson and Al Mann, and includes a copy of the Grey City Journal, an underground newspaper with a cover story on the band. I've never seen this album before.
