Description
Rare And Desirable sun record, out of my own collection. This is my own stored copy ! No reserve ! We have need a lot of time (and a good fellow texas connection) over years to find all this nice records. i sell now nearly my complete record collection, and a lot of my rare memorabilia.
This Auction is for:
SLP 1225 Dance Album of Carl Perkins (1958)
- reissued with different sleeve as 'Teen Beat'(1960)
The Record is in VG condition and Plays good with full sound (no skips, not warped).
Comes with double vintage hand-signed record picture cover like shown.
this record cover is clearly vintage 2x autographed by 'carl perkins'.
1.) 1996 inscribed and signed at front "thanks carl perkins 96", and again autographed and inscribed on the verso '' To my friends at sun records inc. on top of the world 'take care' your rockin buddy carl perkins 5-19-62 " in faint blue ink. super rare and 100% authentic. partially is the color faded out on the verso - due age (but all is clear to read).
this album includes a little nice story. at first purchased in the mid 1980s in a antikstore in memphis, and then over 10 years later proudly presents to carl perkins in 1996 in munich germany to autograph it again.
i have several pictures here made to give all parts a closer look, but all looks in natura much better as my bad camera this shows on the pictures. the autographs are in natura much better to read and more presentable, as it my pictures shows.
cover and record shows some regular age/ playing wear and the seams are repaired with 'clear tape'. all is not new and not mint or alike... all was regular used and shows regular age/storage wear like shown here. cover looks very good in front and also nice on the verso. the record is easy replacable, when you need a better copy..
