Description

The winnings of this auction will go to the renting of recording equipment. My band is getting ready to record an album and we need to raise as much money as possible to rent amps, guitars, microphones, and a reel-to-reel machine. We've decided to gather our records, equipment, and other odd items to sell on ebay and craigslist.
All of the records I have for sale are from my personal collection
I've listened to every single one of these LPs.
Every record I own has been stored in a cool, dry shelf away from all light and heat, in a room that never gets higher than 65 degrees fahrenheit.

The Listing:
Sun City Girls - Live at C.O.N. Artists. This is one of my favorite SCG releases, with insane renditions of Black Tent and Nites of Malta. This is the edition with a rare black and silver cover that I have never seen another one like in all my years of collecting. Every other copy I've seen has been the white cover like the one on discogs. I don't know where this black cover version came from, but for an already very limited release, I'm sure that there can't be many of these. That being said, the vinyl itself is not in perfect shape. Visually there is plenty of light scuffing and scratches over the entire record, including some very noticeable scratches near the beginning of side 2. After doing a full listen of the record, I will play it safe and call the listening experience a Top VG. The disc itself sounds better than it looks, but since this record is rare and expensive I want it to be accurate. Still lots of gloss and shine on the record. The sleeve itself only has light edgewear and one negligible corner bump that bring it down to a Top VG+. Overall it's not a perfect set, but I've never seen another on ebay or discogs. You can e-mail me for a sound sample if you'd like.

Grading System: Like most sellers, the only time the grade "M" or Mint is used, is if a record is sealed. Even a sealed record will have it's sleeve inspected for dings or dents.  That being said, for every grade used (NM, EX, VG+, VG, VG-, and G), I will add an extra category to each in order for there to be a TOP VG+ or a LOW VG+.
For example: A Low EX is slightly better than a Top VG+, and a Top VG is nearly as good as a Low VG+. As I've stated, I have had too many sellers who vaguely label everything VG+ even if it plays like a VG, and use NM when there are clearly scratches on 20-30% of the record. I will only use NM if the record appears to have 95% of its surface immaculate, and even then, any apparent factory defects can not affect play.
In my opinion, about 70% of the records rated VG+ on Ebay that I've purchased should have been rated VG if using true goldmine standards. I personally do not use goldmine standards because I can offer a more detailed and accurate appraisal.
If you have ANY questions about specifics, please message me. I do digital transfers of my LPs, so most of them have only been played a handful of times once in my possession. In most cases, I can offer a sound sample if you e-mail me.
In my experience, even most brand new, unopened records have small amounts of surface noise here and there. Some are better than others, but keep in mind with my grading that I only use NM when it's actually true.

Record will be packed with reinforced cardboard and a quality cardboard mailer. I can only ship to the US, UK, and Canada. For US mainland, shipping will be $4.00. For Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and the UK, I will have to quote you a shipping charge when the auction ends. Please wait for a message from me with the correct amount for shipping to anywhere besides the US mainland. I write "No Returns" for my own protection, as it's common for people to scam. If you truly don't believe that the record matches the description, message me and hopefully we can work something out.
Once again, I will only ship to the US, England, and Canada. My apologies if you live somewhere else.
Good luck bidding, and please feel free to ask any questions.
