A classic rock-concept album, this is Parson's strongest effort, all of it concerning the man vs machine idea, based on Asimov's sci-fi fiction.
Musically, it makes its way nicely through the psychological struggle, but not to be missed is Dave Townsend performing DON'T LET IT SHOW as well as BREAKDOWN from ex-Hollies member Allan Clarke. Plus, I ROBOT and I WOULDN'T WANT TO BE LIKE YOU, both of which are stellar.
The finest pressing of I ROBOT from Japan: The original gatefold cover without fault; heavy platter inside is near mint, all ashine.
Not to be missed. Worthy of the finest vinyl library.
