WONDERFUL BAND. I saw them live many times during my youth and they always delivered - especially super guitarist Del Bronham who's long spindly wah-wah based solos were mindblowing in concert. The great thing about Stray was although they resembles a bunch of tough hard-nut rockers their music was always much, much more with little twists and nuances that suggested a far superior unit to the other period rockers like Hustler, Nutz, Strider and Strife.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
Pressing: Dawn, UK, 1975
Vinyl: Nice clean and shiny condition. Hold the vinyl up to a strong light and hey-presto, it turns blood red! A few spindle marks but no other signs of use. Grades as a fantastic MINT-!
Cover: Again, only mimimal signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no split seams and faint ringwear on rear panel. Spine is straight and stiff. Just a hint of storage wear. Grades as Ex
