Description

I think this is perhaps the most difficult to locate album on the vertigo swirl label. REALLY SCARCE!! I have owned and cherished this copy for 23 years having bought it in Mannheim (along with the Electric City LP I also have for auction). It is  a GERMAN 1971 Vertigo Spiral record but is in EX PLUS CONDITION AND ALSO VERY LIGHTLY PLAYED INDEED. Record AA 6360 026.2 Y with matrices 1Y and 2Y. In normal daylight both sides of the thick vinyl record look almost pristine without marks or hairlines. In more intense light there are the expected hairlines and surface traces. However a very lightly played copy indeed and it sounds fantastic - great early organ and guitar progressive rock music but the only album by this band -similar I think to early Deep Purple. I think at least an EX to EX+ for the record. The A side  has the full swirl label and the B side has the large swirl logo extending to the spindle hole and the Philips Record Product credit. The unlaminated gatefold cover (of course printed in Germany) with the pink flowers on the front and the haunting skull on the back is in EX+ condition - a fantastic well preserved cover with just some tiny surface tears to the mid part of the bottom of the front cover only which you have to really look at to notice. Complete of course with the spiral innner bag. SUCH A RARE & BRILLIANT PROGRESSIVE ALBUM.
