One of the most sought-after LP’s in Midwest Garage history is this amazing 1967 LP release by Pipestone, Minnesota’s Steve Ellis & The Starfires on the legendary IGL Records. This copy of “The Steve Ellis Songbook” is MINT! & still has the shrink wrap on it. Also never turns up in this condition! I’m excited to offer it. I saw the group shortly before Steve’s accidental death and the recording’s sound just like the band did live. Includes the iconic, “Walkin’ Around” The photo of Steve & the Starfires, is not included with the LP. See photos. The cover and labels are also NM. Bidding starts at $579.99.
IGL & SONIC RECORDS ARCHIVE
If you are a record collector of amazing 60’s garage music, then Milford, Iowa’s IGL & Sonic Records are one of the “Holy Grail” ‘60s labels in existence. I was able to acquire an amazing grouping of IGL/Sonic 45 records with 98% are mint condition. It was like going into the IGL vault. It’s almost unheard of considering that many of these discs are now close to 58 years old. I’d suggest if you collect these labels, here is your chance to get amazingly scarce mint copies. I doubt you’ll see this opportunity again. In a few cases if it is not Mint, I’ll note that. There are a few of those as well.
