Disc
Labels: NEAR MINT
A pristine set with just a few spindle trails to the side 2 label only.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate & pristine surfaces which are totally 'as new' and unmarked in strong daylight with no visual wear or blemishes whatsoever. Close & careful examination directly beneath my unforgiving powerful halogen desk lamp revealed only a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines on side 1 but this would be hard to upgrade.
Play: NEAR MINT
The sound on this rarely played copy is clean, warm and powerful throughout with no signs of any background crackle or groove/play wear to any track or channel - even on the easily worn exposed innermost tracks. My careful play check at volume found no clicks, pops, ticks or any other such audible distraction - even the masterful mono mix of 'Yesterday' plays cleanly & clearly with no audible break-up or wear.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
This example is extremely bright & clean with no significant or major signs of wear throughout. The front laminate is glossy & unscratched with just slight toning towards the spine area. There is light bruising to the left corners but both opening edges appear totally untouched. I have downgraded half a grade due to a number '11' written in the upper left corner of the rear panel which is overwise flawless. All flipbacks, seams and the spine are all strong, unstressed and totally undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT -
Clean & crisp with minor age-toning but no splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
