Steve Ellis was a psychedelic guy. Probably the most psychedelic man the people of Western Minnesota and Eastern South Dakota have ever known. He was born in Pipestone, Minnesota December 23, 1944. He lived his entire 22 years, eight months and eight days in a large country home about four miles southwest of town. About two miles from home, on highway 23, an accident occured that three days later took his life. He was riding one of his many accomplishments, a souped up 600 c.c. motorcycle that he had completely rebuilt and reworked. The valve stem on the rear tire broke from the weight of a rider and the tire blew.
EDITORIAL NOTE: This album was taken from a program written by Tom Rambler and broadcast on KISD of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as a memorial to Steve Ellis and the Starfires.

This record has been used and the cover is worn on the edges and on the side also has a few ink marks on. I cannot tell you about any scratches, I do not have a turn table to check it on. The record is an original, some say only 80 are in circulation!!
