This record comes from my father’s collection. He worked for ABC, RCA & Polydor records in the 70’s. This record has not seen a needle in decades other than to test for this auction and it sounds fantastic.

It has been very well cared for and stored properly in a temperature controlled, air conditioned record room. This record has sat on the shelf, stored up- right and has not been played in over 40 years.

Vinyl condition : I would like to think I conservatively grade the records I sell and I would also never sell a record I would not want to listen to myself. This is a fantastic copy of this record. I would say this record is VG+ at the very least. It sounds awesome! Visually there is the (very common and nearly impossible to avoid) “storage visual markings” from the inner sleeve that you would find on any record that has been untouched for 40+ years and stored in it’s original sleeve.

To be clear, since many people have different opinions on grading, by VG+ I mean that this record has been very well cared for and it sounds awesome. You should expect (in quiet spots and transitions) the lightest of normal vinyl surface noise which would be common for any record. By all means it is close to EXCELLENT. Some top of the line record players may make surface noise more pronounced but I tested this on a PRO-JECT Debut III (which is known to make surface noise louder than many other players) and any surface noise was VERY quiet. The record sounds phenomenal. Given a good cleaning, it would sound even better.

Cover grading: The cover is over 40 years old and shows normal age/wear - fading/ circular record ring wear and minor shelf wear (dings on corners, light creasing, etc - the only wear I would say is of note would be appx 1” on the top of the cover - visible when you are looking at it from the top - would be a 1 - 1 1/4 inch ding. I love collecting records and meeting fellow vinyl junkies and making friends along the way. The one thing I do NOT want to do is deal with record snobs or collector’s that are so picky that they inspect records with a white glove. I am very easy to work with and if there is ever an issue or something I may have missed I will always make things right, but if you are a picky collector and look for a flaw in everything, I kindly as that you FIND THIS ELSEWHERE. I do not wish to deal with picky collectors. If you’re cool, I’m cool, and you’re gonna love the record.
