This is an original 1978 U.S. Dynamic Artists Records LP titled 'Dancing And Singing For You - The Baddest 5 Stars In The Galaxy', containing eight tracks from Richmond VA funksters Starfire. It is Dynamic Artists Records catalog number DA-1002. Starfire are: Rudy Leeper-lead vocals, percussion, background vocals / Antwan Garrison-lead vocals, bass, background vocals / Jay Pryor-guitar, percussion, background vocals / Willie McWhite-keyboards, synthesizers, background vocals / Ronnie Cokes-drums, percussion, background vocals. A custom inner sleeve with song lyrics is also included. Tracks: Dancing And Singing (Is What It's All About), Super Sensuous Women, Get Up Everybody, You Can't Stand The Heat, I Want To Sing This Song For You, Loneliness Has Got Me Down, Love You One More Time, Make The Most Of It. Visual condition of record is a mid to high VG+, with all original gloss and some small visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Labels have no problems. Condition of cover is a mid VG+ with the original shrinkwrap still surrounding the cover, a 1-1/2" split in the right side of the bottom edge, a couple of slight wrinkles, a little ring and contact wear, and some general wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no writing, tears, or stickers. This LP would be a choice rare addition to any 1970s soul or funk record collection!
