Description
One of George Jones’s earliest 78 rpm Starday recordings when he was still called Thumper Jones. This record would be mint like new if someone hadn't played it at least once with possibly a worn or improper needle or a heavy tone arm machine. You can see a little graying of the groove. It sounds just great without any hiss, pops or worn groove sound but visually it is not quite I think as a new one would be. Perfectly flat with no scratches or other issues. Have audio links below of both sides complete raw un-enhanced. I record to computer using a modern light tracking turntable with a vintage Shure stereo cartridge wired for mono with a proper new condition 78 stylus. It’s very hard to find hot rockabilly 78s of this period in this condition. Guaranteed authentic original.
