Comments:
This promo only 2- LP set consists of material written and performed by Stan Freberg for the U.S. Army in 1962. These spots have never been re-issued in any format, and feature typically-crazy Stan Freberg dialogue in a series of short "skits' on ARMY enlistment for Radio Commercials. 4-Different commercial "skits", - repeated 2X on each side of the 1st record. Each track is individually banded, so that the commecial plays once, (without trailing into the next spot).
2nd record is an assortment of musical "Programming Aids" used as "lead-ins" to weather, news and radio time-checks. (no Freberg - just early 60's musical enticements for enlistment in the UA ARMY!). Also banded for individual-spot airplay.

This LP came from the collection of a free-lance writer who wrote liner notes and reviewed albums for many of the large New York labels - Columbia, RCA, Capital and their subsidiaries - from the mid 1950s through the late 1970s.
You may never find another copy of this incredibly rare LP, especially in this condition!!!
