Description

THE EARLY RATIONALS/THE OLD EXCITING SCOT RICHARD CASE
A: I Need You
B: Get The Picture
[A-Square 402, 1967, US]

Vinyl Condition: VG++ (strict grading, more specific info below)

Beautiful copy of the only split single on Detroit’s great A2 record label (which also featured acts like MC5, Thyme and The Apostles.) Rationals make a killer garage punk version of The Kinks ”I Need You” (featured on the Nuggets boxed set) and The SCR an awsome version of Pretty Things ”Get The Picture”. Both songs appears on "Boulders #2" and "Michigan Mayhem #1". VG++, as you can hear below, the 45 plays great!

Listen to a sound file of ”I NEED YOU”

Listen to ”GET THE PICTURE”

NM: A perfect copy, like new. Looks great and is more or less unplayed. I do not use this grade very often but if I do you will get a great copy!

VG++ The record will have a few paper sleeve marks or light scuffs that should not affect play. Visually it will have some light marks but will play close to NM with minimal surface noise.

VG+: Vinyl will show some marks and paper scuffs and may have some very light surface noise. This is a very nice copy.

VG: Record will have some noticeable surface noise in parts and more light scuffs and/or scratches. Record may have an occasional light pop or click here and there.

VG-: Vinyl will clearly show more paper scuffs, scratches and wear. You may be able to feel the scrathes with a fingernail. Record will play with some considerable surface noise and pops. The record still plays fine with no skipping.

G: The record will show heavy wear and play with considerable surface noise and pops but without skipping. This is still a copy that you can put on and enjoy listening to. Good does not mean bad!
