FOR THE NEXT WEEK OR SO I'LL BE LISTING SOME BETTER KNOWN BUT MUSICALLY SUPERIOR AND COLLECTABLE ROCK LPS! This is an original 1970 U.S. CAPITOL RECORDS LP titled 'Traveler's Tale' from Detroit hard rockers SRC. It is Capitol Records catalog number SKAO-273, gatefold cover. Personnel: Glenn Quackenbush-organ, piano, vocals / Scott Richardson-vocals / Ray Goodman-guitar / Al Wilmot-bass guitar, vocals / E.G. Clawson-drums, vocals. Tracks: A New Crusader, Street Without A Name, Midnight Fever, Never Before Now, By Way Of You, Diana, Across The Land Of Light, The Offering. Condition of record is a real nice VG++ with all original gloss and just a very few light visible surface and sleeve marks, none of which can be felt or will affect play. Condition of cover is a high VG/low VG+ with a round drill hole near the top right corner, indicating a promo or a cutout copy, the 1/2" beginnings of small splits at the right-hand side of both top edges, a fair amount of contact and ring wear as can be seen in the accompanying image, and a fair amount of wear along the edges and on the corners. This LP would make a choice addition to any late 1960s hard rock record collection!
