Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 4237, Cecil Taylor Unit Structures, a blue and white, microgroove, New York USA label, original promotional only mono issue,with VAN GELDER stamped in the dead wax (there were no ear mark on the original issues). The record is in near mint condition, showing no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The cover has a promotional stamp on the front, the proper 43 west 61st. New York 10023 address on the back, and product of Liberty under the Blue Note logo (this is the original cover markings). It is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent as well with no spindle marks. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this brilliant original Blue Note with all the proper markers. The record has been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large jazz collection I will be posting over the next few months.
