Description
This is an auction for a rare LP by, Spooky Tooth, Spooky Two.
This was released by Island records in 1969 and has catalogue number ILPS9098. This has a pink label and is the 1st press. This is stereo. Please check the pictures for clarification.

Condition: The gatefold sleeve has light buffing to the corners and a few places on the edges and some light discolour/dirt marks, some of which will clean. Otherwise fine, no tears etc.
The original inner sleeve has some yellowing and creasing, no edge splits.
Both labels look clean and new, Under a strong light a few spindle trails can be seen on each side. The centre hole shows no signs of wear. Please check the pics all on supersize for you.
The vinyl retains its new shine and looks immaculate in normal light, Under a strong light a few light and feather scratches can be seen. I have test played this record through both sides and was pleased to find this has fine audio. Really a tale of two halves, side one has a few quiet crackles at the very beginning of this side, this soon clears and goes on to play just about perfect, the very occasional very quiet crackle aside.
Side two has more audible feckling, track 1 of this side has quiet crackling from the very beginning, this can just be haerd in places through this track, there is also one audible pop some way through this track. This completely clears, again other than the very occasional quiet crackle, until the beginning of the last track when 3 or 4 quiet ticks can be heard, again these soon clear. The music itself is strong and plays with no distortion, fading or draging heard whatsoever. Due to the fact this has been played little more than a few times this plays with very little, if any, lessening in actual sound quality and does not suffer any reduction due to wear.
Graded at a strict VG+ / VG, have to down-grade this for the quiet audible surface noises, despite the fact it has been hardly played and the music plays well above any surface noise heard. Probably better than graded with nice looking vinyl and strong audio. No doubt near mint by many other traders.
Certainly better than a gap filler and probably undergraded.
