Higly collectable tune from the Spiral Tribe recorded on the uk label Rabbit city in 1992 !!!! A real must to have !!!!!! Highly collectable !!!
ATTENTION : PERLE RARE !!! Les spiral tribe nont pressé qun vinyl sur le label Rabbit city ,tant recherché et pressé seulement a 300 exemplaires !!! . Ce vinyl est remplie de magie !!!!! Le son est superbe , extremement variévavec une trax hardcore et trois trax tribe acid !! Les basses sont monumentales toutes rondes et claquantes , les mediums compressés a lextreme , des aigus acids qui nen finissent plus de monter !!! Sur deux trax on sent clairement r zac travailler avec son son si particulier ! Bref , les spiral tribe se lachent sur ce vinyl qui en plus est un des tous premiers , pressé a l'epoque ou ils navaient pas de label propre en 1992 !!! Il sagit donc dune perle rare , piece collection car petit bout de l'histoire de la techno a lui tout seul !!! Ne le ratez pas , le repressage est passéet na repris que la trax hardcore donc les trois trax tribe qui tuent tout ne seront pas repressées cest certain !!!
For me this record summarises the beginning of the end of the free party rave scene that I knew and loved.
After 'the spilt' that came about towards the end of 1992 several factions developed out of a once unified scene that accepeted and embraced all sorts of different people and sorts of dance music styles.
The much loved hardcore rave sound of 91 and 92 was drownned by a sea of genres like Jungle, Happy Hardcore, Gabba etc
Spiral Tribe most definately went down the super hard Gabba type route. Much of this aggression within the music was an outpouring of disillusionment as this vibrant scene imploded.
This is actually reflected in the 'WE NEED - A NEW UNITY!' line that features on one of the tracks on this record.
Spiral Tribe left the UK for mainlnad Europe around this time never to return.
The Spiral Tribe parties in France, Berlin etc (a fair few of which I attended) were far more militant and moody than the parties Spiral Tribe had held in England. The fun had gone and the vibe was awash with the muddled rhetoric and misconceived revoloutionary principles of way too much LSD. As far as the UK scene goes - it was over.
