The playing side of this disc looks superb, it is bright, clean and glossy - please look at the photographs.

I therefore visually grade the disc as EX.

You are viewing my extremely rare one-sided DEMONSTRATION (DEMO PROMO) 7" ACETATE by the The Spencer Davis entitled, 'MR SECOND CLASS'.

'Mr Second Class' was released as a single on 29th December 1967.

Supplied with this disc is a signed letter from 'UNITED ARTISTS MUSIC LTD' dated 4th December 1967.  The letter is addressed to Ian Grant Esq of the BBC.

The letter itself provides information of when the single is to be released  and to indicate that Spencer Davis is available for broadcasts to promote the single.

The letter is in exceptionally good condition and is signed in ballpoint pen by 'Bob Grace'.

This is an extremely important piece of 1960's pop music history - and is virtually never offered for sale - have you seen one before?

The images displayed are photographs I have taken of the actual item I am offering for sale. I have deliberately not shown the complete letter to prevent forgeries being made.  

This is the first time this unique item has ever been offered for sale.

Condition gradings:

M - Mint: - In perfect/As new condition

EX - Excellent: - Sleeve and vinyl is used and shows only very minor (if any) signs of wear.

VG - Very Good:  - Sleeve will have obvious signs of wear/damage. Vinyl will have obvious signs of wear but will play with no major faults (although there may be some surface noise).

G - Good: - Sleeve will have significant wear/damage. Vinyl will have a fair amount of surface damage however it will play with no sticks or jumps but will have significant surface noise

F - Fair: - Sleeve will be badly damaged. Vinyl will have significant damage and may play with surface noise and may jump/stick etc.

+ & - may be used if an item is between standard gradings.
