"This is Howlin' Wolf's New Album. He doesn't like it. He didn't like his electric guitar at first either."

When Marshall Chess got to run Cadet Concept at his pop's Chess Records label, the first thing he did was take Wolf and Muddy Waters into psychedelic-land. This LP and Waters' Electric Mud were universally panned but now are regarded as helping ignite the worlds of rap and hip-hop. Don't believe me? Go ask Chuck D.

Cover shows some shelf wear. There's some discoloration and rippling along the bottom, as if at some point it was damp. Tiny piece of clear tape lower right and a few pieces of clear tape along the top. No writing. See photo.

Vinyl boasts some of its original shine, gloss and luster. It shows surface marks on the faces. All are seemingly superficial. No marks are deep; none can be felt to the touch. LP tracks without issue on my turntable.
All in all, this is a great LP at a remarkable starting price.
